I am an Applied Mathematics Honours student at UCT with a strong background in Computer Science. My current project aims to analyse and extend the Quantum Approximate Optimisation Algorithm to other use cases.
My primary focus is on Quantum Computing, and I maintain an active interest in Blockchain and AI.
I’m a fan of speciality coffee, and I thoroughly enjoy cooking as well as reading. My ambition is to become a world-class professor in the field of Applied Mathematics where I can apply reinforcement learning algorithms in robotics and policy-making, and also have the opportunity to work with other researchers to solve problems that affect Africa and the rest of the world.
